Elysium Isles Business Rules
- Application Requirement
- All businesses require a completed application, decorated or not, to be approved for a lease.
- Lease Duration & Renewal
- Business leases are granted for 1 week at a time and are renewable. To renew, the owner must show consistent in-world activity and engagement (Discord or roleplay presence).
- Inactivity Policy
- If inactive for 7 days without notifying staff, the business will be flagged.
- 10 days of no visible activity (RP, Discord ad, customer/staff interaction) = automatic removal.
- Inactivity includes:
- Not opening the shop
- No RP at the business
- No staff or customer engagement
- No ad posted
- Leave of Absence Policy
- Going to be away? Let staff know in advance. A spot can be held for up to 2 weeks (case-by-case extensions possible).
- Promotion & Engagement
- You must post at least one ad in the #business Discord channel
- Host or support one RP-related activity every 2 weeks. (Ex: sale, staff hiring, in-shop RP, event.)
- Staffing Requirements
- Shops with staff must engage them. Ghost owners who do not communicate or coordinate with staff will have leases pulled.
- If operating solo, you must still show active roleplay or meaningful engagement with the community.
- Reapplication After Removal
- If removed for inactivity, you must reapply and may lose priority for your previous spot.
Premade Businesses:
- Already decorated and unalterable.
- 75 prims allotted for personal space decoration, which can also enhance business areas.
- Decorations must match the existing theme.
- Rent: 1L per week to promote roleplay.
Empty Businesses:
- Designated for business types not currently on the sim and require admin approval.
- 150 prims for decorating business and personal space; 75 prims for smaller businesses without personal areas.
- Full decoration is required; prioritizing personal space over business may result in losing the business.
- No exchanges for placed buildings.
All businesses remain locked until application approval.
